Some of the bloodlines are more wrinkled than others. Some people
actually do not want a lot of adult wrinkling. If that is something
that is important to you then you need to be very specific in
requesting it.
The Baggins bloodline is known for heavy wrinkling. In many cases our Shar-Pei will continue adding wrinkles as an adult.
The later a shar-pei puts on his wrinkling the more he usually
will have into adulthood. If a puppy puts on all of his loose skin very
early he will probably grow into it instead of slowly wrinkling as he
grows.
