They can open their eyes anywhere from about 10 days to as late as 3 weeks.
I take the first puppy pictures at 4 weeks. I try to refresh them every 10 days
or so, since the puppies change so much.
Puppies cannot be shipped at less than 8 weeks old, but new owners often come to
select a puppy and place a deposit at an earlier age.
I vaccinate all my puppies at six, nine, twelve, fifteen and eighteen weeks old
(or until they leave). I usually insist that they be a minimum of nine weeks so
they get two vaccinations. I prefer to keep them until they are twelve weeks old
in order to get in three rounds.
